One of the most challenging domain in Networking is Switching. To most of the students that begin by studying the OSI model, Routing is the domain that comes more ease to understand. Maybe because of subnetting concept, multiple subnets, IP addressing which lead to routing. Another reason could be the Layer 3 protocols are a few and most of them are standardized and implemented in all vendors’ products.
